Let’s deconstruct this idea, and flip it on its heels. 

We don’t have to be lonely. 

Even better, we can surround ourselves with other writers…writing!

Would you like an accountability partner, someone who not only inspires you, but also someone for whom you can help?  

I have often wished for my people, word warriors who understand what it’s like to be infatuated with writing, with reading, the craft, the fun. 

Writing together, in a safe place. 

That’s what The BIC (Butt-In-Chair*) Club is hoping to provide.

We’ll check in, be given a writing prompt, and set the timer. Microphones muted, cameras on or off, we’ll write together, but independently. 

Then we’ll pick from a hat for someone to read. Back to writing with a new prompt, ad infinitum.

Creatives can pop on or off at anytime. Use as you would like. Edit, draft, do your friggin’ nails. 

Feel the love and the creativity, and then get out there with your bad self.

*Neither butt nor chair needed. Stand on your feet, on your head, or even, lie in bed.
